Introduction to US EPA certification

EPA is the acronym for U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Its main task is to protect human health and the natural environment. EPA certification: It is a compulsory environmental certification in the United States.
EPA certification is mainly aimed at environmental certification of emission performance. The EPA tests the engine emissions of locomotives and confirms that it meets the minimum environmental protection standards based on the vehicle's performance and emissions values.

EPA is headquartered in Washington, with 10 local offices and dozens of laboratories. There are 18,000 employees across the United States. More than half of them are engineers, scientists, and policy analysts. Responsible for setting national standards for many environmental projects and monitoring the implementation and compliance of mandatory standards.

Application process

5. Submit certification application and test data like EPA
6. EPA review data (During the review process, the EPA will decide whether additional information is needed and whether a verification test is required based on the information provided and test data.)
7. Pass the examination and issue the certificate (The EPA certificate is an annual certificate. The certificate expires on December 31 when the end of the year or a specific pattern is generated, and the specific date of expiry shall be the earlier one.
